“For me, servant leadership entails the fundamental practice of putting the student first. Ultimately, we teach individuals just as much as we teach subjects. Understanding our students as people is crucial in helping them develop to their full potential. As an educator, every vision I pursue…must be informed by its ultimate impact on student success. The concept of service also implies a willingness to share my vision, energy, and sense of purpose with others; to lead by example and to motivate through a desire to have a positive and lasting impact on the world.”

A great educational institution does not teach students ‘why’ but provokes them to think ‘why not.’ This is even more important today, when the environment is showing its distress globally, through climate change and needs to be addressed globally with new solutions.”
