Kodaikanal International School strives to maintain relations and connections with and amongst its ‘global family.’ As a School we seek to create lifelong relationship with every Alumni in order to advance in our mission of lifetime connectedness and networking between the School and Alumni and between the Alumni themselves.
Alumni across the globe help us celebrate the historic partnership they have with KIS. The Alumni office seeks to enhance connectivity with the alumni community. Our responsibilities include planning, liaising, organizing alumni reunions and information sessions, Class and Chapter gatherings across the globe, assisting visiting alumni and inducting staff and student alumni.
Our 80 Alumni Chapters worldwide are an integral part of the alumni effort and offer members the opportunity to remain connected by providing a vital link with other alumni in their area. We urge you to be an active member in your Chapter to keep this vision alive Let us know if you would like to volunteer as Chapter Rep in your area. We welcome ideas and events which appeal to you, so don’t hesitate to share.

Alumni Portal & Database
We have over six thousand alumni on the database. We need your support to continually update the database, so do inform us whenever you move or change your email address. To connect with friends and classmates, go to the portal (www.alumni.kis.in) and sign in your username and password. If you do not have one, sign in your email address to request new password or write to email@example.com for the same.
All the happenings and upcoming events at KIS are regularly posted on KIS Facebook page, Alumni Events and Reunion Fb page, LinkedIn and YouTube. To join, please like the page.
Every year, we send the alumni magazine ‘7Roads’ to all alumni worldwide, free of charge. It covers stories of personal achievements, renewing of old friendships, daring expeditions, humanitarian and literary works. Do write to us with your story.
We stock KIS branded merchandise items which include mugs, sweatshirts, sweatpants, House T-Shirts, jackets, caps, sling bags, umbrella, hoodies etc.
We have two cottages on Lochend for Alumni guests which can accommodate up to 3 people each. Now, the Sherwood dorm also serves as an Alumni guesthouse. For reservations, write to firstname.lastname@example.org. We encourage you to contact the KIS Alumni office before you start your journey to Kodai and should you need help with travel suggestions or hotel bookings in Kodai, do write to us at email@example.com for any assistance.
Alumni Guesthouses – Immigration Requirements for Stay
All foreign nationals are required to complete the Form ‘C” upon arrival at the Alumni guesthouse. Please submit this form to the Travel Office, with photocopies of your passport, visa page and passport size picture. You may contact the Alumni Office for assistance. If you arrive on a Sunday, please submit the Form ‘C’ at 8am on Monday.
Alumni can have their meals at the cafeteria. Coupons can be purchased at the Finance Office. Breakfast is served from 7.00 am to 7:50 am except on Tuesdays and weekends which is from 8.00 am to 8:50 am. Lunch and Dinner are served from 12.00 noon to 12:50 pm and 6.00 pm to 6:50 pm respectively.
Wi-Fi connectivity is available on Highclerc and Ganga campuses. Contact the Alumni Office for username and password.
