Position Name: Communications Officer

Supervisor: Chief Marketing Officer

Position Description: Manage all external and internal content and assist the Chief Marketing Officer in the development and execution of marketing programs.

Hours: 44/week

Start Date: Immediate

Selection Criteria:

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Communication, Journalism or related field
  • Previous experience in a marketing department preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience


  • Write, edit, and distribute content, including publications, brochures, press releases, website content, annual reports, speeches, internal communications and other marketing material that communicates the organization’s activities and services.
  • Manage the publication of all our external publications
    • Manage the publication schedule of our monthly newsletter Flag Green
    • Content creation for articles
      Edit articles submitted by staff members and students
    • Assist the Alumni Officer with the publication of Alumni-facing KIS publications (Kodai, 7 Roads Magazine etc.)
  • Manage all social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter)
    • Work with the digital marketing team for the creation of monthly schedules for posts
    • Reply to all incoming inquiries
  • Manage and execute the admissions inquiries nurturing process
  • Responsible for collecting feedback from stakeholders and reporting
  • Assist the CMO in the coordination and execution of marketing and sales programs
  • Assist with data analytics and market research
  • Oversee the KIS website for accuracy of information and the creation of new content
  • Responsible to respond to media inquiries, arrange interviews, and act as a spokesperson for the organization
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with journalists, and maintain a media database
  • Maintain records of media coverage
  • Collaborate with colleagues in other departments, including Alumni Office, Admission Office and the Development office under the CMO supervision
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal Office and Chief Marketing Officer
