Recycle with us
Kodaikanal faces serious waste management challenges due to its unique hill-station setting.

Reduce your Landfill Load
Limited infrastructure, difficult terrain, and ecological sensitivity make it hard to process the growing volume of waste generated by households, tourism, and industries. Whether segregated or not, most of your waste ends up in a dump yard in Prakashapuram—an area surrounded by farming communities, the Tiger Shola Forest, and the Perumalmalai Stream.

It Starts at Home
Waste management begins where waste is created—your home. Start by separating your waste into three simple categories:
-
Trash
-
Compostables
-
Recyclables
Bring your clean, dry, and empty recyclables to our drop-off center to ensure they don’t end up in the landfill.

What We Do
At our community recycling facility, we sort your recyclables into 23 categories and ensure they are responsibly sent to recycling units in the plains. All you have to do is drop it off—we’ll take care of the rest.
