KIS K-8 School

Ganga Campus currently houses KIS Elementary School and Middle School (grades 6-8), one student dorm and numerous staff houses in a safe and secluded woodland setting.

Purchased just over 10 years ago, the KIS K-8 school was purpose built and opened in 1996. It is now home to around 180 students in Preschool, Kindergarten and grades 1 - 8 catering for 3 - 14 year old day and boarding students. (Boarders admitted from grade 4).

KIS Elementary School boarding students live in 2 dorms, Westover for girls and Swedish House for boys.

KIS Middle School boarding students live in 3 dorms: Phelps, for girls and Crescent Park and Swedish House for boys.

KIS K-8 School facilities include large sports grounds, covered court space for PE, children's playground and 'magic castle', 13 classrooms (average size 90 sqm), a computerized library housing over 13.400 age specific volumes, 3 IT labs with the latest Samsung computers with LCD screens, a fully equipped dedicated art room, 13 individual music practice rooms and a large airy dining room in which KIS staff and parents are welcome to eat with their children.

KIS K-8 School teaching team consists of well trained classroom teachers supplemented by a librarian, specialist staff and dorm parents. Professional volunteers, teacher trainees and international exchange students are frequent visitors adding to the richness of this unique K-8 School.
