Kodaikanal International School is a coeducational international boarding school with approximately 600 students from approximately 30 countries. KIS draws on the richness of all its constituent cultures and has been educating global citizens for over 100 years.
KIS is deliberately multicultural in its articulated philosophy and members of the KIS community are supported in developing an understanding of their own culture and the cultures of other.
KIS takes students from Preschool to grade 12. American and IB curricular programs are run in parallel and delivered through Elementary, Middle and High School. Boarding students are accepted from grade 4. Suitably qualified students may enter KIS at any level.
