Judy Redder
KIS Foundation Officer

Since my two daughters and I arrived in Kodai two months’ ago, I have hit the ground running at KIS… literally, with an Amazing Race staff retreat. The retreat carried a theme based on the following verse: “Do not cling to events of the past or dwell on what happened long ago, watch for the new thing I am going to do!  It is happening already, you can see it now.” Isaiah 43:18-19. This verse spoke to me on both a personal and professional level. I believe my journey to Kodai will be one of evolvement for myself and for the KIS Foundation office. My intention is to keep a positive and forward-looking approach to our fundraising efforts.

In my role as Foundation Officer I have the pleasure of meeting with staff members to learn about the progress on KIS projects, such as Poondi, the KMU Restoration and Archive Project, Loch End Fitness Center, Highclerc Virtual Campus…. and so much more. These insights, suggestions and opinions give me a valuable overview which allows me to observe the progress of projects and keep you regularly informed of their status. Through each monthly newsletter I will inform the KIS community about our fundraising efforts and accomplishments, acknowledge the generosity of our donors and report on how we use the funds they give as their investment in KIS mission and vision.
