KISAA - Kodaikanal International School Alumni Association
KIS is fortunate to have more than 100 years of alumni support, the first 73 years from Kodai School alumni and over 30 years from its evolution into one of India's first international school, Kodaikanal International School (KIS). Today KIS alumni gather together under the banner of KISAA.
The Kodaikanal International School Alumni Association in North America (KISAA) was established in 1982. A revitalization of KISAA is currently underway to better meet the goals and purpose of the Association which are to:
- Promote a close relationship and understanding between Kodaikanal International School and its alumni
- Foster a spirit of friendship and loyalty among members of the Association
- Contribute to and promote the best interests of KIS
KISAA’s organizational structure consists of:
- Geographical chapters throughout India, the USA and around the world
- Classes organized under the leadership of class representatives
- A Mentorship Coordinator
- Effective September 2009, a Council of Directors
The KIS Principal and Alumni Coordinator make it a priority to visit alumni around the world and create opportunities for chapter meetings, alumni gatherings and annual KFI Board of Directors' meetings in the US.
